Wu wei is an important concept of Taoism and means action that does not involve struggle or excessive effort. Wu wei is the cultivation of a body-mind state in which our actions are quite effortlessly in alignment with the flow. This going with the flow, although it may be greatly productive, is characterized by great ease where we spontaneously act perfectly. Chinese philosophy helping us as improvisers to fight against our need for control and giving us tools to reach the flow, the impulse and the connection. This is a workshop to be aware of our need for control and let it go. To be in the present, here and now, without thinking about what happened or what will happen. To connect with myself, with my partner and with my surroundings. To acquire tools to reach that state of flow where everything seems to be perfect.
